Hobbies besides cooking/baking + favorite quarantine activity?
I love arts--watercolor, sketching--and crafts--crochet, bookbinding, basic woodworking. Besides cooking dinner with my grandpa everyday, my favorite quarantine activity has been going on walks and other forms of exercise.
When and why did you join Cookology?
I joined Cookology this fall quarter! I just really love cooking and after spending most of quarantine learning and testing techniques with my family, I knew Cookology would be perfect for me.
What’s your favorite food to cook/bake?
I love cooking with tofu. It's such a versatile food that can really transform depending on what you do. Baking, pan frying, stewing, steaming, etc. The options are endless and the results are always so delicious. Baking wise, my favorite would definitely be thumbprint cookies. They were actually the first thing I ever learned to bake (from my older sister) and they've become a family tradition for holidays.
Favorite Cookology memory
So far, it would probably be winning trivia night! :) But I look forward to making many more, hopefully in real life too and not just on Zoom.
