I’m on campus, living in Willard.
Hobbies besides cooking/baking + favorite quarantine activity?
Besides cooking, nearly all my time is spent reading or practicing the saxophone. As far as hobbies go, I really enjoy playing the piano and reading cookbooks. My favorite quarantine activity was going on a (very socially-distanced) road trip.
When and why did you join Cookology?
I joined cookology this quarter, Winter of 2021, because I was looking for a culinary outlet where I could collaborate with others to hopefully bring exciting food to a larger audience than I could from my dorm kitchen, and because I wanted to find a way to cook for more people! I really want to try to facilitate pop-ups of some kind in the near future, and Cookology seems like the perfect place to do it.
What’s your favorite food to cook/bake?
Picking a favorite food to cook is an impossible task, but one of my processes I love the most is making/forming handmade stuffed pasta.
Favorite Cookology memory?
I’m obviously pretty new here, but my favorite cookology memory so far is definitely when I was able to present a go-to snack of mine, cantaloupe with salt and hot chocolate powder, to a chef on a zoom call.
